1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LessIsMore, you confirm that you are legally able to use mobile apps and digital services in your country and that you accept these Terms in full.

If you are under the age required by your country to consent to these Terms, you may use LessIsMore only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the App

LessIsMore is a digital wellbeing app that helps users understand phone usage, review screen-time statistics, set goals, track streaks, compare usage over time, and reduce distractions.

The App may show daily, weekly, monthly, and custom-period statistics, app usage rankings, previous-period comparisons, ignored apps, detailed reports, and optional backup and restore tools.

3. Not Medical or Professional Advice

LessIsMore is provided for informational and self-improvement purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes medical, psychological, therapeutic, financial, or professional advice.

If you have concerns about mental health, addiction, productivity, or wellbeing, you should contact a qualified professional.

4. User Responsibilities

When using LessIsMore, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes.
• Grant only the permissions you are comfortable granting.
• Keep your device and Google account secure.
• Review your settings, goals, ignored apps, and backup choices carefully.
• Use backup and restore features carefully and select the correct backup files.
• Not reverse engineer, copy, modify, abuse, or interfere with the App or its services.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

5. Device Usage Permission

LessIsMore depends on Android usage access permission to display screen-time statistics. You can grant or revoke this permission in Android settings.

If permission is not granted, some or all App features may not work correctly.

6. Local Data and Backups

LessIsMore stores usage history and settings locally on your device. If you use Backup & Restore, you are responsible for choosing the correct Google Drive folder and backup file.

We are not responsible for data loss caused by device issues, deleted files, incorrect restore choices, Google account issues, uninstalling the App, or clearing App data.

7. Premium Features and Subscriptions

Premium Features

LessIsMore may offer premium features, including detailed reports and backup/restore functionality. Premium access may require a paid subscription or purchase through Google Play.

Billing

Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Google Play according to Google Play's terms and policies. Subscription status may be managed through Google Play and RevenueCat so the App can unlock premium features.

Cancellation

You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before renewal if you no longer want premium access. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Refunds

Refunds, where available, are handled according to Google Play's policies and applicable consumer protection laws.

8. App Availability and Changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of LessIsMore at any time. Some features may depend on Android, Google Play, Google Drive, RevenueCat, device permissions, or device-specific behavior.

We do not guarantee that every feature will work the same on every device, operating system version, or manufacturer configuration.

9. Accuracy of Usage Data

LessIsMore uses Android usage data and device events to estimate screen time, app usage, and screen activity. These statistics may not always be perfectly accurate.

Accuracy may be affected by device settings, Android version differences, manufacturer behavior, permission limits, sync timing, system restrictions, or other technical factors.

10. Intellectual Property

LessIsMore, including its name, design, branding, text, features, and software, is owned by us or our licensors.

You may not copy, redistribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from LessIsMore unless we give you written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

LessIsMore may rely on third-party services such as Google Play, Google Sign-In, Google Drive, and RevenueCat.

Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and account requirements. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policy changes, or account restrictions.

12. Privacy

Your use of LessIsMore is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how the App accesses, uses, stores, and protects information.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

LessIsMore is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, fully accurate, secure, or available on every device.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LessIsMore and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, device issues, subscription issues, backup or restore issues, or reliance on App statistics.

15. Termination

You may stop using LessIsMore at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing App data from your device.

We may suspend or terminate access to the App or premium features if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or if continued access would create legal, security, or operational risk.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, intellectual property, privacy, and governing law — will remain in effect.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of LessIsMore after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
