2. Information the App Accesses or Stores
Device Usage Data
With your permission, LessIsMore accesses Android device usage information, including app usage duration, app package names, app names, app icons, last usage information, screen activity events, and related usage statistics.
This information is used to show screen-time summaries, app rankings, comparisons, detailed reports, goals, and streaks.
App Preferences and Settings
LessIsMore may store settings such as selected theme, ignored apps, daily screen-time goal, and streak progress.
Local Database
LessIsMore stores usage history and app settings in a local database on your device. This data is used to generate reports and statistics inside the App.
Optional Google Drive Backup and Restore
If you choose to use Backup & Restore, LessIsMore may ask you to sign in with Google and grant Google Drive access. The App may upload a backup of its local database to a Google Drive folder you select, list backup files, download a selected backup, and restore it on your device. This feature is optional.
Subscription and Purchase Information
LessIsMore may offer premium features. Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Google Play and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive subscription status information, such as whether premium access is active, so the App can unlock premium features.

3. Information We Do Not Collect
LessIsMore does not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, microphone recordings, camera content, messages, or files outside the App database backup selected by you.

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share or process data with third-party services when necessary to provide App functionality.
- Google Play: used for app distribution, billing, subscriptions, and purchase management.
- RevenueCat: used to manage subscription entitlement status and premium access.
- Google Sign-In and Google Drive: used only if you choose to back up or restore your App database through Google Drive.
6. Google API Services Disclosure
LessIsMore's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google Drive access is used only to provide the optional backup and restore feature chosen by you. LessIsMore does not use Google Drive data for advertising or unrelated purposes.
7. Android Permissions
LessIsMore requires Android usage access permission to read device app usage statistics. This permission must be granted by you through Android system settings.
If you do not grant this permission, the App cannot display screen-time reports correctly. You can revoke this permission at any time in your Android settings.
8. Data Storage and Security
Most App data is stored locally on your device. Optional backups are stored in the Google Drive account and folder selected by you.
We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by the App, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Local App data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App data, or uninstall the App. Optional Google Drive backups remain in your Google Drive until you delete them. Subscription records may be retained by Google Play and RevenueCat according to their own policies.
To delete your LessIsMore data, you can:
- Clear the App data from your Android device settings.
- Uninstall the App.
- Delete any LessIsMore backup files from your Google Drive.

10. Your Privacy Rights
